Part One:  Foundations

Part One contains the foundational elements of developing a thriving and effective performance team. The teaching, exercises, and takeaways will leave each delegate with both the knowledge and the tools to be able to shape the foundations of their team whether they are a team leader, aspiring leader, or a team member. These tools and ideas apply whether you are developing an existing team, a new team coming together, or you are turning a team around to become a better performing team.

The following 3 modules consist of 3-hour interactive learning sessions that will enable the transfer of learning through the ability to continue to discuss and practice new skills and behaviours. The additional 3 modules build on the foundational model to allow teams to:

Module 2:  Grounded in Trust (3-hours)

This module builds on the basics by taking a deeper look at trust. What builds trust, what erodes trust, and what we, as leaders do (or don’t do) that damages trust.

During this module, we will also explore the concept of having 2 teams: Work and Home. We all know that we should leave work at home, and home at work but that is not always the way it goes. Often problems in one will affect the other. In this module, we look at how to use our leadership skills to create harmony in both our professional and personal lives thereby ensuring success in both.

Module 3:  The Story is the Star (3.5 Hours)

It’s simple, it’s talked about a lot and yet not often executed well. The vision. The single unifying statement that gives people purpose. In this module, we will explore your vision for your team and will explore how to overcome the inevitable challenges that come with a big, bold, goal. After all, if you know how to achieve your dream then your dream isn’t big enough! But it’s easy to fall prey to negative messages and all of the “what ifs” and reasons why you can’t achieve something. In this module, we will learn how to overcome the challenges that arise as you work toward your vision. We will finish with the “theatre of the mind” and challenging the belief myth that will move you closer to your vision.

Learning includes:
