I’ve spent my entire life focused on change. When I look back, every chapter - both business and personal has been about change. It’s about transformation and what it really takes to achieve that.

The pressure to drive transformation is everywhere. Clarity on how to lead through change is in short supply. There’s a hard truth here: The skills required to deliver 2–10x change are fundamentally different from those needed for 2–10% growth.
Right now, there’s a very real skills gap which people are trying to close. Which happens to be the one area of life that I’ve spent working on. I have spent my career in transformation and environments which are volatile and fast changing. In fact I don’t think I’ve ever had a role which is what I’d call a steady state business as usual role!
There’s one crucial insight I see play out time and again. Both my lived experience and my research shows that embracing business transformation without some level of personal transformation significantly reduces the likelihood of success of your transformation. Shifts are required in both.

My work sits at the intersection of business and personal. I’ve lived this first-hand. From sailing twice around the world, including the World’s Toughest Yacht Race and later with my young family, to working as a Consultant at KPMG to building and exiting businesses as a CFO, CEO and advisor.
